Was using philosophy's various light scents, discovered this Burberry London sample in my last Sephora shipment. Went to Macy's and bought the set for under $77-lotion, shower gel and 3.3 oz fragrance. Fretted over price until I actually used the products-layering them. Recieved SO many compliments! Not "an old lady's perfume"- not strong nor weak- it has an elegant floral fragrance.
top notes: rose, clementine and honeysuckle.
heart notes: tiare flower, jasmine and peony.
dry down notes: sandalwood, veil of musk and patchouli. All my favorites!

An earlier review used the word "elegant" for this fragrance and that's the perfect adjective. It's classy. Not too heavy, not too light, I get compliments on it constantly. Women always want to know what it is. I've been wearing it since Christmas 2007 and I'm putting it back on my wish list for this Christmas, too. Hopefully Santa will bring me the other Burberry London products, too. It's just a gorgeous scent and is rapidly becoming my signature perfume.

My husband surprised me with the Burberry London set with perfume, bath gel, and lotion for Christmas 2007. Previously, I wasn't a daily perfume wearer, but that changed when presented with this fabulous scent! It smells so good but is in no way overpowering. Everyone in my household has allergies and can be very sensitive to smells, but this scent doesn't seem to affect any of us. This is my signature scent. When my children grow into adults and smell something similar, I hope it evokes memories of their mother and a happy childhood.
