Years and years ago,I was shopping for a Christmas gift for my Mom.Something I knew she didn't have.So,I was at a large department store,and wandered over to the perfume dept.I looked at the L'Air Du Temps display and picked up the tester. One sniff and I was done in.I love perfume,but I do not like anything sweet or heavy or one that drowns you in a sea of chemicals.But this perfume? Exquisite. I sprayed some on my sleeve so I could enjoy it on the way home.I bought it for my Mom,and I have a photo of her when she first put the spray bottle up to her nose:She was nearly swooning.It became "our" perfume and nothing else would do. It smells really good on a coat or jacket that you might have worn a few days before.It is just so light and lovely and indescribable.To this day,with Mom gone now for three long years,when I spray myself with the perfume,I still remember how much Mom loved it and I am back there long ago with Mom on that Christmas morning.
Scents and odors evoke memories,and this particular perfume evokes wonderful memories of Mom and me.

This perfume is such a beautiful fragrance. It is not a really strong fragrance which is perfect for me. However, it is lovely and others can enjoy it as well when you wear it. I have a very sensitive sense of smell and always appreciate a beautiful, non over-powering scent. This perfume has been one of my favorites for years. I love to wear it in the spring and summer, especially. You really can wear it all year round of course. If you want to feel like a feminine woman, this would be an excellent fragrance choice for you. I also love the beautiful bottle it comes in. Enjoy!

This fragrance for women has been around a long time. While not as popular as it was in the 50's because of the dominant advertising of products that have eclipsed this and other "heirloom" products, L'air du Temps is still a wonderfully romantic fragrance. I have introduced it as a gift to several of my special friends and family members. Everyone of them have loved the subtle, gentle quality of this product and continue to use it as their special occasion fragrance. This has been a favorite of mine for a long time. It has a nice, not overpowering smell and I think it smells nice on everyone.
The price was good on Amazon.com,even better than the famous "Club" price!
